According to the most recent guidelines from the Department of Education, students exhibiting ‘flu-like’ symptoms are required to remain at home and have a COVID-19 test. The results of this test must be provided to the school office prior to the student returning.
If a student returns to school prior to providing their COVID – 19 test results, they will be sent home.
Process
1. Student is absent due to flu-like symptoms
2. Office Staff will call home and inform parents that the student will not be permitted on the school grounds until clearance is provided
3. Student undergoes COVID-19 test
4. Results of this test must be emailed to Kellyville-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au
5. Office staff will call to confirm student is allowed to return to school.
