Student Filmmakers Shines at Short+Sweet Sydney Film Festival
Exciting news for our school community—our talented Media Team students lead by Mr. Caprarelli, has achieved a remarkable milestone in filmmaking! Two of the Media Teams short films, Bubblegum and Bunyips and When Sticks Become Snakes, have been officially selected for screening in the Department of Education Showcase at this year’s Short+Sweet Sydney Film Festival.
Short+Sweet is the world’s largest short performance festival, originating in Sydney and now celebrated worldwide. Its film festival arm, now in its ninth year, spotlights emerging voices in film, including high school filmmakers from across NSW. This selection is a testament to the creativity and storytelling skills of our incredible Meida Team.
The Department of Education Screening will take place on: 📅 Monday 12 May 2025 🕠 5:30 PM 📍 Turner Hall, TAFE Ultimo, Sydney
