Welcome to the 2025 school year

Dear parent/carer,

I am writing to introduce myself as the new Principal of Kellyville High School and to welcome you to the 2025 school year.

In my first few days at Kellyville High School, I was touched by the warm welcome extended to me by the school community, including students, staff and the parents. I would also like to extend an equally warm welcome to you, whether you are a parent of a new student to our school, or a parent of a child who is established at our school. I have observed a professional and dedicated staff and a polite and respectful student body – no doubt a credit to you as a parent and the supportive environment you have created at home.

I believe that one of our highest priorities is to continue building on trust between the school and the community, continue engaging parents to support equitable outcomes for all students, and to improve student access to technology and the use of technology in learning.

I also believe that the three pillars of Kellyville High School – Learning, Excellence and Integrity –provide a strong foundation that enable our students to become respectful, resilient and aspirational citizens.

We all want what is best for our children, and every year we strive to raise the bar, make improvements, challenge our students and help them get ready for their chosen paths in life. As a school, we have come a long way in the last few years, despite the many challenges we have faced, and that journey of improvement and high expectations will continue in 2025.

Schools are only as good as the collective efforts of students, staff and parents. I am confident that by working together we will successfully meet any new challenges and provide learning opportunities that will enable all our students to succeed.
