Kellyville High School empowers students through its Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative, designed to support digital learning across all year levels. To help families choose suitable technology, the school provides clear device specifications that ensure compatibility with classroom activities and school systems.

Recommended Device Specifications

The BYOD Recommended Specifications document outlines both minimum and preferred requirements for student devices, including:

• Operating System: Windows, macOS, or Chrome OS (latest versions preferred)

• Screen Size: Minimum 10 inches for effective viewing and interaction

• Battery Life: At least 6 hours to support a full school day without charging

• Wireless Capability: Dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11n or higher) for reliable connectivity

JB Hi-Fi Education’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program offers a simple and reliable way to purchase education‑ready laptops, tablets, and accessories designed to meet the needs of student life.

Through this program, families can access:

• A dedicated purchasing portal with devices approved by Kellyville High School
• Flexible “Buy Now, Pay Later” payment options
• Extended warranty and insurance choices for added peace of mind

Please note: Participation in this program is completely optional. Families are welcome to source devices from other providers if they prefer.
