Student stories that inspire
We’re excited to invite you to the premiere of Slip Stitch**, the 2025 KHS Media Team’s original short film**.
Under the guidance of Mr Caprarelli, our students have spent the year writing, filming, and producing a polished and ambitious project—one we’re proud to share with our community.
Slip Stitch follows a group of former hellraisers planning one last hoorah, while their leader wrestles with old habits and something far more fragile.
The film also marks a major milestone as our official short‑film Oscar submission.
The athletics carnival was a vibrant and successful event, filled with energy, teamwork, and school pride. Students competed with determination, while spectators created an encouraging atmosphere that lifted every participant. The smooth organisation helped each event run efficiently, allowing athletes to shine across sprints, jumps, and throws. Most importantly, the day strengthened the sense of community, with houses cheering one another on and celebrating every effort. It was a memorable showcase of talent, spirit, and unity.
This year’s school swimming carnival delivered an action‑packed day of competition, teamwork, and outstanding athletic talent. Students gave their all in every race, showing courage, sportsmanship, and incredible enthusiasm from start to finish. The poolside energy was electric as students rallied behind their swimmers, creating a supportive and spirited environment. Congratulations to all our age champions, whose exceptional performances earned them well‑deserved recognition. Your speed, skill, and determination were truly impressive. Thank you to every swimmer, volunteer, and supporter for contributing to a smooth, successful, and unforgettable carnival that showcased the very best of our school community.
Our Year 7 students began high school with an unforgettable camp at the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Lake Macquarie. Across three days, they embraced canoeing, archery, high ropes and team‑building challenges, pushing themselves and supporting their peers. The camp also helped them build new friendships, grow more independent and strengthen connections with teachers. They returned home tired but proud, having gained confidence, resilience and excitement for the year ahead.
"When my daughter joined Kellyville High during middle school, she settled in smoothly. The supportive teachers, friendly peers, and small class sizes made her transition easy and her learning experience more personalised.” — a parent of Kellyville High School.
